I’m Kata, guiding yoga and sound therapy sessions.

 

I first discovered the wonderful world of yoga in 2011, during a period of burnout in my work, and it has been an integral part of my life ever since.

 

Yoga has supported me deeply in regulating both my state of mind and my energy levels.

 

HER JOURNEY

To express what yoga means to me, I often return to a line from the Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Hindu scripture:

 

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”

 

For me, yoga is about slowing down, breathing, being present, and truly being there for myself.

SOUND & VIBRATION

Alongside yoga, my other passion lies in the world of sound and vibration.

 

Sound healing found me during my time in India, where singing and playing instruments were part of everyday life. Being constantly surrounded by sound had a profound effect on my mood and overall state.

 

It was also there that I first encountered Tibetan singing bowls.

 

Through their deep vibrations, I was able to enter a meditative state in a short amount of time — bringing a sense of calm while also gently recharging my whole system.

 

I knew that this was something I wanted to explore more deeply.

 

For me, yoga and sound create a space
where we can slow down
and reconnect with ourselves.

HER APPROACH

Through my yoga and sound sessions, I love to share this passion with others.

 

I aim to create a space where you can slow down, pause for a moment, and allow yourself to simply be.

 

I truly believe that we all deserve to step away from the outside world from time to time, and experience deep rest — both in body and mind.

 

I look forward to welcoming you to my group classes and individual sessions.
