Visceral & Scar Massage
Gentle manual therapy to restore abdominal mobility and tissue freedom.
Service Description
Visceral & scar tissue massage is a manual, soft‑tissue‑focused method aimed at supporting the mobility of abdominal organs and scar tissue. Surgery, injury, or prolonged strain can alter the gliding ability and elasticity of tissues. Because the fascial system forms a continuous network throughout the body, local tension can influence movement patterns and joint function. This method may help release abdominal adhesions, improve the mobility of scar tissue and its surrounding structures, and restore freedom of movement in nearby areas such as the shoulders, back, lower back, and hips. It can be applied in cases of surgical scars, after a C‑section, or when experiencing tension in the abdominal region. It is suitable from 12 weeks after childbirth or after suture removal.
